Draft of Mozambique Civil Aviation Master Plan

The main components of the project are:
– Component 1 : Reducing trade costs through transactions’ facilitation, including border infrastructure and regulatory framework reforms
– Component 2 : Strengthening regional coordination and supporting project implementation
– Component 3 : Increasing investments in regional value chains
– Component 4 : Improving transport infrastructure and market access

• Step 1 : Start, preliminary data collection and methodological framework
• Step 2 : Diagnosis of the current situation, available data, implemented documentation
• Step 3 : Development of the civil aviation master plan and action plan
• Step 4 : Development of the master plans for Maputo, Beira and Nacala international airports
• Step 5 : Development of a structured implementation plan
• Step 6 : Preparation of the plan for modernizing/ updating Mozambique’s airspace management
• Step 7 : Final study report and presentation workshop
