Transport Engineer - Transport Economist
Project Manager

Position based in: Tunis - Lac 2 with frequent missions in Sub-Saharan Africa

Presentation of the DET Department :

The department specializes in transport studies, feasibility studies, strategic studies, master plans, transport strategies, etc., mainly carried out for the benefit of public institutions and bilateral/multilateral development agencies. The Department, like the Consultancy Firm, is export-oriented and achieves a large part of its turnover in Sub-Saharan Africa, alone or in partnership with STUDI International, the parent company of the STUDI Group.

Job Description :

Reporting directly to the Director of Transport Economics, you will be in charge of leading and carrying out all the activities assigned to a Transport Engineer/Transport Economist Project Manager :

Prepare expression of interest files.
Prepare proposals in response to calls for tenders and requests for proposals in your field of expertise.
Lead projects as a project manager or participate in them as an expert in your field of expertise.
Manage relationships with clients and partners, individual consultants and consultancy firms.
Prospect for new clients and new geographic areas for future development.

Profile and Qualifications :

Transport Engineer, Master in Transport Planning, Transport Economist, etc.
10 years of experience in transport planning.
Mastery of transport planning models such as PTV Visum, EMME / 4.
Mastery of statistical and data analysis software.
Good command of IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Perfect command of the French language in writing and speaking. A good level of English is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills and good communication with work colleagues, partners and clients.
Dynamism, autonomy, responsiveness and rigor are your main assets.

Job Description :

Reporting directly to the Director of Planning and Sustainable Development Studies, you will be in charge of leading and carrying out all the activities assigned to the Ecologist/Environmentalist Project Manager :

Prepare expression of interest files.
Prepare proposals in response to calls for tenders and requests for proposals in your area of expertise.
Lead projects/businesses as a project manager or participate in them as an expert in your field of expertise.
Manage relationships with clients and partners, individual consultants and consultancy firms.
Prospect for new clients and new geographic areas for future development.

Profile and Qualifications :

Engineer or graduate (Master) Environmentalist, Ecologist, Water and Forest Engineer or other fields in earth and life sciences.
10 years of experience in developing ESIA/ESMPs and RAPs; Environmental audit or studies on the development of natural environments and spatial planning.
Good command of computer tools (Word, Excel, Power point) as well as those for mapping and the creation of DB/GIS.
Perfect command of the French language in writing and speaking. A good level of English is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills and good communication with work colleagues, partners and clients.
