PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Tunisian Energy Transition Acceleration (TETA) project aims to improve strategic, regulatory, administrative, and technical situation to accelerate the implementation of the national energy transition strategy objectives.
Agrivoltaics (AgriPV) is considered as an innovative technology that offers optimal synergy between energy production and agricultural activity. Its key principle is to use the same plot of land for both solar energy generation and farming, ensuring that agriculture remains the primary activity. In arid climates, it can provide several benefits for crops, such as shading, reduced evapotranspiration, and improved rainwater harvesting.
